The purpose of the EBP SIG is to provide a forum for clinicians, educators and researchers that promotes collaboration and innovation for informed application of research evidence in practice.

The objectives of the EBP SIG are to provide a forum for discussion, a venue for program development, and a presence in the public arena of the Academy. In particular the SIG shall:

The EBP SIG can provide faculty who teach EBP with a comprehensive guideline of what should be included in DPT EBP curricula. The EBP SIG and Academy of Physical Therapy Research have endorsed the 30 page guideline which contains both overarching curricular recommendations and examples of specific learning objectives for students in the classroom and clinic.
